Job Title: Bookseller

Time and a half Books is a brand new general trade bookstore, selling thoughtfully curated new books and other art-related merchandise both in-store and online. We are looking for booksellers who are intentional, responsible, reliable, interested in striving for excellence, and believe in the necessity of literature and art.
Responsibilities
- Customer service, including, checkout, gift wrapping, answering phones and emails, processing returns and exchanges, and fielding special customer requests
- Demonstrating literary knowledge to customers through handselling
- Receiving, shelving, and merchandising books and other inventory throughout the stor
- Processing web orders for in-store pickup and/or shipment
- Opening and/or closing the store
- Tending to in-store maintenance as necessary, keeping store clean and attractive including public and staff-only spaces
- Other duties as reasonably requested
- Keen knowledge and interest in literature is required
- Weekend and evening availability is required
- Previous retail, bookstore, or library experience is a plus
- Bookmanager and/or Notion experience is a plus
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 40 lbs
