Nail Technician — Lena Rose Beauty (Lincoln Square)

Job Type: Full-Time preferred (will consider part-time for the right person) 
Locations: Lincoln Square, Chicago, IL and Naperville, IL 
Compensation: Hourly + Rose Rate (our commission and performance system)

Lena Rose Beauty is Chicago's first non-toxic, holistic beauty spa and shop. We're a small, close-knit, growing team rooted in four values: Community, Compassion, Connection, and Conversation. We hand-make the products we use in our services, vet every retail product on our shelves, and create a fume-free, low-waste environment built to protect the long-term health of our team and our clients.

We're hiring full-time Nail Technicians at both locations and looking for someone who wants to grow with us — not just clock in.

What You'll Do

• Perform our full menu of services: Classic, Dazzle Dry, Gel, Chakra, Little Lena, Structure, GelX Extensions, and Russian manicures + Classic, Dazzle, Gel, Chakra, Fire & Ice, and Sole Revive pedicures
• Lead thoughtful client consultations centered on nail health (not just polish)
• Educate every client on ingredients, soft gel vs. hard gel, and at-home care
• Recommend at least one retail product per client (goal: two)
• Rebook every guest before checkout
• Maintain a photo-ready, sanitary, fully reset station between every client
• Use proper PPE for every removal — dust collector + face mask, no exceptions
• Help promote Lena Rose at markets, community events, and in the neighborhood

Who You Are

• Active Illinois Nail Technician License (required)
• 2+ years salon or spa experience (preferred)
• Existing book of clients (a beautiful bonus)
• You believe nail health comes first — polish is the celebration, not the priority
• You have hustle: you build a book, you network, and you ask for the rebook and the retail sale
• You see slow mornings as opportunities to clean, train, post, or introduce yourself in the neighborhood
• You want to grow with a brand that's expanding — not just collect a paycheck
• You're kind, drama-free, and ready to be part of a small, close team
• Available evenings and weekends
