  • Maintain market supply boxes and inventory records to ensure that market stands are always fully stocked.
  • Communicate with the Owner and bakery staff on a weekly basis to discuss any issues or changes in inventory needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on weekly offerings/new products so you can answer customer questions.
  • Prepare supplies/products for all events on a given day.

  • Set up and take down the farmers market stand, including arranging products and ensuring that the stand is clean and presentable.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answer questions, and provide information about the products.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, and accurately report transactions and opening/closing inventory.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Ensure all supplies are returned to the commissary kitchen and properly cleaned/stored/restocked at the end of each shift, and that all unsold goods are properly stored.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary: The salary for this position is $20 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement for getting to/from the bakery and various markets/events. It also includes the following benefits:

  • 20% employee discount on all food, drinks, and merchandise (at the markets and Mindful Baking Cafe). Everything we make is vegan & gluten-free!
  • Room to grow, potential to eventually manage a small team, and help organize larger-scale events hosted by Mindful Baking.
