Job Title: Electrical Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our company. The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical construction project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
- Prepare bid packages and submit estimates within deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of bids.
- Maintain a database of historical project costs and pricing data for future reference.
- Track and report on bid results and project award outcomes.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Chicago Electrical Code.
5+ years of experience
Flexible hours, open to part time
Adaptable, open minded and enthusiastic about working with a small team.
Proficient in google
Experience with using estimating software.
