The Metalsmithing & Jewelry Department is accepting applications on a rolling basis for instructors to teach in-person arts classes starting in September 2022 and beyond. We are looking for:
- In-house evening and weekend workshops
- Beginner to Intermediate level project-based workshops
- Jewelry & Functional wares
- Basic silversmithing projects: rings, cuffs, bangles, earrings, pendants, etc
- Potential lead into teaching beginner classes and 5-10 week specialty class offerings, depending on availability (AM & After noon availability for classes is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in arts or higher or 5+ years as a working artist
- At least two years of previous teaching experience, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
- Positive, professional, and motivational
- Excellent people skills
- Must be comfortable working with adults of all skill levels and abilities
- Evening and weekend availability preferred

This is a contract position with an hourly rate based on experience, starting at $24/ hr.
