Chicago Magic Lounge Seeks Box Office Attendant

At the Chicago Magic Lounge, our mission is to bring the wonder and excitement of Chicago’s signature close-up and parlor magic to the city’s vibrant nightlife while building a dynamic community of professional magicians.
We host performances seven nights a week, always with a fresh lineup, so every visit is a brand-new adventure! Whether you are discovering our hidden entrances, catching a magician behind the bar, or marveling at stage shows and walk-around table magic, you are in for an unforgettable night of wonder.
As a Box Office Attendant, you will be the first point of magic for our guests, guiding them from their initial ticket purchase through to an amazing, memorable experience.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the friendly face and welcoming voice of the Chicago Magic Lounge, connecting with our guests through both written and verbal communications.
• Help guests purchase tickets, merchandise, or gift cards, and answer their questions about our shows, ticket options, and the venue itself.
• Keep an eye on guest notes and inquiries, and proactively ensure any special needs are handled for a seamless guest experience.
• Stay on top of all ticket and merchandise inventory and communicate information to relevant team members
• Prepare guest lists and other daily paperwork to share with the nightly operations team
• Assist with group sales and share pertinent information with the nightly operations team
• Crosstrain as Patron Services Associate for occasional hosting shifts
• Assist Marketing Director with Donation Requests
• Manage private event inquiries in coordination with the General Manager
• Maintain a clean and organized box office
• Other duties as assigned.
