Supervision as a Moving Practice

In this one-hour workshop, participants will learn about the history and evolving understanding of dance/movement therapy specific supervision, emerging with a definition and basic theoretical underpinnings of the practice. Akin to this, the workshop will provide an overview of techniques and practices commonly utilized as well as supervisee learning outcomes for DMT supervision. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of the unique approach and thus the unique possibilities for further engagement with embodied, experiential supervision.
