Starshaped Press is hosting their 23rd annual holiday open house Saturday, December 10th, 5-9pm. There will be presses and historical printing equipment on display, as well as antique metal and wood type used every day for print projects. Neighbors can learn a little about letterpress printing and its relation to Chicago, purchase prints and see a press in action.
Their neighbors in the building, Wonder City Studio, will also be open, showing the workspace where they create illustrations and ceramics honoring Chicago architecture. They'll be serving up drinks and snacks in abundance.
