Pots to the People

Pots to the People is a grassroots movement to inspire civic engagement through handmade pottery. Local potters donate their "seconds" (functional but imperfect pots). Inside, they tuck a handwritten note answering the question "what do you fight for?” The buyer "purchases" the cup by making a $25 online donation to the ACLU. This event spares some beautifully imperfect pots from the landfill while encouraging lively conversations about defending our democracy."
