Are you a girlie obsessed with ghosts, aliens, true crime, cryptids, and anything else eerie or spooky? Do you crave new like-minded friends to accompany you in a deep dive into your favorite creepy topics and share the cozy, warm feeling of a terrifying horror film? Our group meets every first Thursday of the month from 7-9 at a city proper establishment to discuss topics like a true crime podcast or documentary, a trilogy of horror movies, a gothic fiction novel title, personal experiences and beliefs about spirits, historical sightings of Mothman or the Loch Ness Monster, etc.
Join “Ghouls and Girlies” for our March group discussion topic. Our event is for women, trans persons, & gender queer. We will examine specific historical cases themed "He Had it Coming” Stories of Vigilante Justice and touch on moral themes. We will review 3 key cases: Ken McElroy // Leon Gary Plauche // John & Lorena Bobbitt.
