This course illuminates the relationship between the human body, societal pressures about the body, eating disorders and the role of dance/movement therapy as a treatment modality for restoring body connection. This knowledge is essential for dance/movement therapists who plan to work with individuals suffering from body image dissatisfaction and/or eating disorders.
