What is a bioswale?
Bioswales are landscaped drains filled with vegetation, compost, and riprap. Their gently sloping sides and lush greenery help protect local waterways by filtering silt and pollution. When properly cared for, they also reduce standing water that attracts mosquitoes, provide habitats for wildlife, and beautify our neighborhood.
What will we be doing?
Saturday Nov 6, 2021
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT
We'll meet at Paulina and Berteau, by the German International School (1726 W Berteau).
