Having spent her early career in corporate brand design, Andi has found her sweet spot delving into the inner workings of a client’s small business. Whether designing one piece or a full system of brand work, she seeks to distill the important parts and make space for them to shine. Andi’s practice is driven by the desire to create things of meaning, and never add to the noise. She designs from a place of personal connection—connection to the work, the people doing the work, and its impact on the world. Andi presents on sustainable packaging and accessibility in design to foster visual literacy and blur the border between “designer” and “not designer.” Raised in Texas, Andi reconciles her farm kid past and her city dweller present by forever searching for the perfect taco, exploring Chicago’s natural places with her family, and growing all manner of plants in whatever dirt she can find.
