Blending sounds ranging from the traditional to the terrifying\, VSQ will present works by Luis Fernando Amaya\, Jonathan Hannau\, Joseph Haydn\, and Gyorgy Ligeti in a smorgasbord of spooky sounds. Contemporary works by Amaya and Hannau\, a string quartet in C Major by Haydn with perhaps more hidden depths\, and the challenging and thoroughly creepy String Quartet No. 1 "M tamorphoses nocturnes" by Gyorgy Ligeti combine for an evening of Halloween-themed classical music that will surprise\, scare\, and delight.
