DESCRIPTION:The Ravenswood Farmers Market operates every Wednesday from June through October\,  providing locals a place to purchase fresh\, local food from an open-air market on Damen Ave. The market connects farmers and food producers to residents while offering neighbors a place to come together. Our season begins on June 12 and concludes on October 16. Hours of operation are 4 to 8 pm and we take a week off for the 4th of July.\n\n\nOur market features a variety of farmers and food producers\, live music\, local restaurants\, food trucks\, bounce house\, children's craft and science experiment tents\, nail and wood projects once a month\, a fairy garden\, big bubbles\, baby sensory tent\, vintage toy tent (toys from the 80s and 90s) for kids age four and up\, and a rotating cast of guest artists\, retailers\, health and wellness providers\, and non-profit organizations.  The playground opens at 6pm and we're also dog-friendly and have free treats and water bowls on-site!\n\nRavenswood Farmers Market is a joint effort from the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce\, Ravenswood Evangelical Covenant Church\, and Ravenswood Community Council.
