SUMMARY:Mind Body Connections Grand Opening
DESCRIPTION:At their new location in Ravenswood\, Mind Body Connections will offer dance/movement therapy\, counseling services\, and educational opportunities. Join this open house celebration for networking\, light refreshments\, and an art exhibit feat. work by Karen Sugay.\n\n\n\nRSVP here to attend and enter a raffle for a sculpture by Karen Sugay!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Karen Sugay\n\n"I am a freelance artist\, designer\, and sculptor specializing in dimensional objects created from waste plastic materials. My work is a response to concerns for the environment as well as my passion for the organic world. However\, my work emphasizes the use of plastic waste as a medium rather than a commentary on environmental issues. I have developed a unique way of working with recycled plastic bags\, (see photo on invitation) and the exhibit at the MBC opening is a survey of works using this new method."
